sight isn’t always necessary

I just noticed that all of my blogs lately have been stupid YouTube clips. Which is dumb, because I actually have quite a bit to say most of the time, and wasting blog space on things that numb your brain isn’t what I indended on doing.

Recently, Craig and I had a barbecue at our house with some family and neighbors. I made chicken, steaks, potatoes, sauteed asparagus, a big Caesar salad, and for dessert we had strawberry shortcake sundaes. It was a lot of work.

So I’m out at the grill while Craig walked over to get all of our guests out of the pool, and I’m realizing that we have entirely too many potatoes. I think Craig made twelve, which was crazy. So I sortof mumbled that under my breath, and suddenly my neighbor and mother-in-law decided it was time to tell me all of the amazing things I could do with a cooked potato. Now that I’m out of that situation, I’m sure it was out of a movie.
