sight isn’t always necessary

About

SO.  TOP THIS.

Really, the only reason for an “about” page is to tell about me, but my whole entire blog is about me, so this isn’t really useful to anyone.  You won’t learn much that you haven’t already read.

Here, I’ll create a favorites list:

  • Person on the planet – Connor
  • Adult person on the planet – Craig
  • Ice Cream – Cappuccino Crunch from Hershey’s
  • Cheesy Movie – Teen Witch
  • Animated Movie – The Lion King
  • Song – Three Little Birds (Bob Marley and the Wailers)
  • Color – Red
  • Season – Summer
  • Dessert – Carrot cake

Ok, the list is getting boring (maybe I’ll keep updating it when I’m even more bored than I am now).  Here’s a true breakdown of me, some history and pictures to back it up, and a reason for having a blog, as if one needs a reason.

I’m 28 years old, married, and I’ll soon have two children.  My husband and I have been married for eight years now (wow!), and together for ten.  My family is happy, with the ups and downs that anyone could expect, and we love each other very much.

I’ve always been one of the smarter people I knew, one of the more ambitious and driven people, yet for the past five years I have been cooped up working for a benefits software company as a technical analyst, and after the initial excitement of having a real job wore off, it’s been some of the darker years of my life.  I started a silly blog back in college for some reason, but never really posted much to it.  Blogs were more like diaries then, and rarely would anyone ever actually read the ramblings I choose to put down in print.  However, some time last year my father decided we needed a “family blog“, and asked me to set it up.  We’ve had that going since then, although I think dad has only posted… once?  Regardless, there were a few times when posting to the family blog didn’t make much sense, so I began to write in my personal blog from so long ago.  It’s somewhat addicting; I get to dump all of my insanity out, and sometimes I even have the thrill of writing something that someone reads, all the while knowing that at any moment, I could be discovered.  I’ve always been a daredevil.

So that’s why I have a blog – for my own very personal use.  I’m told I’m a decent writer, so I hope that in these ramblings, if you find yourself on this blog reading for something useful or insightful, you’ll at least be entertained.
